At the age of 13, Shalys was diagnosed with Lupus. Doctors had warned her about all the symptoms this autoimmune disease would cause, one of the most common being hair thinning and hair loss. At the age of 19 Shalys started losing her hair after being in coma for more than three months due to her condition. Shortly after being discharged from the hospital, she had a dream where she was presented with a mixture of natural oils, she could apply to her scalp for her hair to grow back. When she woke up, she started gathering all the ingredients revealed to her in her dream and mixed them in a dropper. She immediately started applying the magical oil mixture on her scalp.
